Auchnafree is a fabulous place to explore on foot, but our E-bikes can provide an excellent adventure. If you are coming to stay with us at Auchnafree, why not give them a go! The bikes can be added to your accommodation booking.
The bikes are suitable for all abilities and we have two bikes available in different sizes. Helmets will be provided if required. You must agree to our terms of conditions on booking and sign our declaration form provided to you on arrival before the bikes are taken.
Information on suggested routes can be found on websites such as All Trails. Please be aware that the lack of signal at Auchnafree means forward planning is essential for safety.

Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all people using a demo / hire bike provided by Auchnafree. Completion of a booking / reservation acknowledges acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the participant:
- The rider is fully responsible for their actions whilst using the demo / hire bike. Auchnafree do not accept responsibility for the actions of the participant nor the consequences of such actions.
- Each participant will be fully responsible for any fees or costs incurred or arising from an accident either involving or caused by the rider.
- Each rider, upon completing a booking, agrees that they are physically and mentally capable of riding the hire bike.
- The booking must be completed by a person aged 16 years or over. Evidence of age may be requested.
- The rider agrees to wear, as a minimum, a suitably designed cycling specific helmet while using the hire bike. Auchnafree reserve the right to refuse hire bike use to anyone with inappropriate equipment or clothing.
- The rider agrees to return the bike hire. Failure to return the bike will result in Auchnafree recovering the full retail value of the bike from the rider. A late fee will be charged at £10 per 15 minutes a hire bike is past its agreed return time.
- The rider is responsible for any negligent damage caused to the bike. The cost of any damage caused (over and above standard wear and tear) will be recovered from the rider.
- Photo ID must be provided before the demo bike(s) will be released to the participant. Only nationally recognised forms of ID will be accepted i.e. Photo driving licence and Passport
